KALISTE J. SALOOM, III, born Lafayette, Louisiana, August 22, 1959;
admitted to Louisiana Bar, 1984, and the Louisiana and U.S. Eastern and Western District Courts of Louisiana. 

Education: University of Louisiana at Lafayette (B.S., Computer Science, cum laude, 1981), Past Vice President, Alumni Association, 2000,
Tulane University Law School of Louisiana (J. D., 1984) , at which time he was known academically as a forerunner in the embryonic field of Computer Law.  As a senior law student, he was chosen for appointment by the Louisiana Supreme Court to practice law under Supreme Court Rule XX in the Tulane Law Clinic.  He has written several articles on computer law and other topics for general and business publications. 

Member: Lafayette Parish, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations;
Southwest Louisiana Bankruptcy Bar Association. 

Career: Graduate, First Class of Leadership Lafayette, 1988;
